Seagreens Food Capsules

Seagreens® for mercury amalgam detoxification

Seagreens® Food Capsules are used by BSMFD member dental practitioners. The actual dosage should be determined with your dental or nutrition practitioner, but we do offer advice below.

Detoxification of heavy metals and radiation

Detoxification of the heavy metals is broadly achieved through 4 principal modes of action which make for a clean bill of health:

  • Special seaweed¹ polysaccharides bind and remove the toxic metals including barium, cadmium, cobalt, copper, lead, mercury and radium from the body assisted by a range of minerals and amino acids notably special proteins (metallothionines).
  • The polysaccharides, minerals and trace elements make seaweed a highly alkalizing natural food which may help normalise any alkaline-acid imbalance.
  • Seaweed is a fine natural source of stable, fully chelated iodine (bound to protein) and all its related nutrients such as selenium; iodine contributes to normal thyroid function, which in turn regulates the hormones and virtually all the bodily functions.
  • The polysaccharides, several seaweed pigments including chlorophyll, and all the antioxidant vitamins and minerals, may help cleanse the digestive tract, blood, lymph, and kidneys.

In the 1960s Japanese scientists showed that radioactive strontium in the gut is converted to an insoluble salt which is excreted. Nature published a report showing that wrack seaweed inhibits the body's absorption of radioactive strontium and cadmium by up to 7/8ths the dose received. It also removed Strontium 90 already absorbed through the gut wall and deposited in body tissues and bone.

Dosage

Seagreens® Food Capsules may be taken alone or in combination with other non-seaweed detoxification measures:

  • 3 capsules daily (1 with each meal), commencing 5 days before the first treatment.
  • Then 6 capsules on the day/s of treatment and for at least 8 weeks following the completion of treatment.
  • Then 4 capsules daily (2 morning and 2 evening) for 12 weeks.
  • Then normal daily intake 2 capsules daily for 12 - 24 months.

Dr Levenson's pre- and post-extraction dental treatment plan includes the following commencing 5 days before the first treatment. After one month following the last treatment, only the Seagreens® Food Capsules should be continued.

Further Help

Coriander

Research has shown coriander to be an effective aid in the removal of mercury from the body. Preparation: Blend fresh pulverised coriander with virgin olive oil, a little water and a little sea salt to a creamy mix. For convenience this mixcan be frozen like ice cubes. Dose: 1 teaspoon per day, gradually increasing to 3 teaspoons per day. After the first month, do not continue.

Sulphur and zinc

Although already contained in Seagreens®, additional sulphur and zinc tablets may be used during the first month. Mercury interferes with zinc metabolism which is needed in digestion and the intestinal flora, so the purpose is to provide the body with some additional zinc in the initial stages of detoxification. Research has shown that sulphur is an effective binder which aids in the removal and excretion of mercury from bodily tissue.

Some people may have an adverse reaction to sulphur. Dose: 1 suplhur tablet per day for 3 days, then 1 zinc tablet per day for one day, repeating the cycle (3 days sulphur, 1 day zinc) gradually increasing the sulphur to 3 tablets per day (but do not increase the zinc). The zinc should be taken last thing at night. Do not continue after the first month.

Vitamin C

A good high dose high quality antioxidant like C from Rosehips. Dose: as container instructions.

Selected Health Symptom Analysis of 1,569 patients who eliminated mercury containing dental fillings

The following represents a partial statistical symptom summary of 1,569 patients who participated in 6 different studies evaluating the health effects of replacing mercury-containing dental fillings with non-mercury-containing dental fillings.

The data was derived from the following studies: 762 Patient Adverse Reaction Reports submitted to the USFDA by the individual patients; 519 patients in Sweden reported on by Mats Hanson PhD; 100 patients in Denmark performed by Henrik Lichtenberg DDS; 80 patients in Canada performed by Pierre Larose DDS; 86 patients in Colorado reported on by Robert L Siblerud OD, MS as partial fulfilment of a PhD requirement; and 22 patients reported on by Alfred V Zamm MD, FACA, FACP.

The combined total of all patients participating in the sic studies was1,569. Joint and muscle pain are highlighted in a further research paper.
